#TOMETOPPLE (June 5th-19th) TBR

Exams are over and the freedom is glorious! So to kick off the summer I (Lizz) will be taking part in the brand new #TOMETOPPLE read-a-thon this June. Blogger and Booktuber Thoughts on Tomes created this tag to help people tackle the huge books on their TBR lists just waiting to be picked up. The aim of this read-a-thon is to read as many (or as much of) 500+ page book as you can. The read-a-thon is two weeks long so anyone can take part no matter how quickly you read.

#TOMETOPPLE also has five optional challenges:

1. Read more than one tome (500+ pages)
2. Take a graphic novel break (doesn’t need to be over 500 pages!)
3. Read a tome that is part of a series
4. Read over 500 pages in one week
5. Read an adult novel

I’m planning to get at least four out of five of these ticked off (I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get hold of a graphic novel as I’m at Uni and I’m not signed up to the local library here), so here is my TBR:

I’m planning to use this read-a-thon to dedicate some time to the A Song of Ice and Fire series as they’re all super long.

1. A Feast For Crows

(Harper Voyager)

I’m half way through this book and still have almost 400 pages left (ahhhhh!), and I’ll be honest I’ve been struggling with this book over the last couple of months because the characters (or lack of characters that we all love – where the heck are John and  Davos??) and the pacing. So anything that’ll push me to finish this beast is welcome.

2. A Dance with Dragons (1): Dreams and Dust

(Harper Voyager)

So this is the next book in the series, I think I’ll get to it but I’m not sure if I’ll finish it.

If you’re taking about in #TOMETOPPLE let me know what on your TBR!!
